International Sales Account Manager

GCC America is the office to service our clients in USA, Canada and Latin America. This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue in Latin America. This position will be ensuring that organizational products consistently meet client needs. This position is also responsible for providing sales quotations as well as sustaining and renewing client contracts by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships.
  • Builds customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of the company products.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe.
  • Identifies current and future needs of customers and potential customers regarding products offered by the company.
  • Performs collection activities as required, supports the company in reaching out to clients in default. 
  • Is responsible for continually educating himself/ herself on market and new product trends.
  • Tracks personal sales statistics and submits them to Sales Director for period reviews. 
  • Informs customer service department of customer problems, changes or new information in a timely manner. 
  • Provides feedback and recommendations new products and services to company management. 
  • Reviews sales plan on a as needed basis with the Sales Director.
  • Is involved in annual planning review of projected sales plans, sales targets and goals. 
  • Forecasts the product of client needs on a monthly basis. 
  • Handles face to face meetings with potential customers/tradeshow involvement.
  • Creates request for quotes, providing complete information for accuracy of estimate.

Full-Time. Experienced (non-manager)


  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Bilingual in English & Spanish.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:  Accounting Software (QuickBooks); Database Software (Access);; Internet Software;  Spreadsheet Software (Excel);  Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation Software (PowerPoint); and tech support and RMA software.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends to meet customer requirements.

Work requires willingness to travel on an as needed basis. Attending trade shows, visiting clients for sales or technical issues. Travel is usually scheduled one month ahead.
